Sunday’s here

Sunday is here and we’re excited to have two specials in church this morning.  Tony started off our service singing the song, “The Old Man is Dead” and we were not disappointed.  Great song and Tony did a great job.  We sure have some talent in our little park!

Don’s message was challenging and encouraging at the same time.  We were challenged from God’s Word regarding how to live a godly life.  A godly life is impossible without God.  Makes sense, doesn’t it?

There are grandchildren in the park and they are so cute!!  Here’s another picture of little Abigail.  Her mama, Shaylynn, sang a beautiful special in church this morning.100_5030

Richard and Debbie have their two grandsons here this week and Abby is visiting.  Smudge Bob Fur Pants is watching. 100_5031

After church at FBC Ingram, our second service where Don gets to be a part of the congregation, we invited the pastor, Chris, and his wife, Lacey, and baby boy, Noah, to lunch.  Don just felt like Chris might need to just visit with another pastor.  He was right.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them and I think they did, also.

From something Chris told us, we drove over to look around a resort we didn’t know was in the area:  Buckhorn Lake Resort. 100_5032 Buckhorn Lake resort

It’s pretty nice, but not very many shade trees and see that tower in the picture below?   It’s not a Verizon tower.  Neither of us had a cell phone signal here. 100_5049 Buckhorn Lake resort

Back at the Q, it was time for my Sunday afternoon nap.  And after my nap, a snack of one Sugar Baby apple (from the Apple Store in Medina) which is about the size of a large plum, and a handful of almonds.  Sugar Babies are GOOD!!100_5050 Sugar Baby apple & almonds

We had 16 in church this morning!  We are always thrilled when folks show up!
