What is the best way to catch a hummingbird?

With a camera, of course!

Don went outside to light the grill and came back to the door in a few minutes,

“Get the camera and come here.”

Perched on a very small limb just a foot or two over our heads was a very young hummingbird.  He was so tiny, I could hardly find him through the lens of my camera.  If you know pecan trees, you know that the leaves are not very big.  Well, they were bigger than the hummingbird.

Finally, he flew away, but I didn’t get his exit picture.

Thanks to Don’s ‘eagle eyes’ and thanks to God for the gift of getting to take pictures of this amazing little bird, still.
