The reason I slept so good last night... it rained almost all night. Had to walk under the umbrella to church this morning. It goes from heavy mist to buckets falling.
Worship service was awesome this morning as we remembered The Body and The Blood: Matthew 26:26-30; I Cor. 11:23-32. Thanks to Audra Robb for choosing such appropriate songs for our Communion Service. We appreciate her willingness to serve as pianist and worship leader. Around 2:00 this afternoon, the sun tried to break through. 
So I walked out to see what Bert Case was doing up a ladder. Maybe later, after it stops raining, I can get a picture of his new weather vane. 
Here at Quail Run, we have RV's and park models. Bert & Sadie live in a park model.
Now, Tammy, I know you find nothing out of the ordinary about rain water standing in the street, but remember, this is the desert valley.

Oh, I would've loved to have had you here--we'd have had a few rousing games of Farkle!
lol... I knew you would "talk to the hand" regarding rain here. You guys get excited about the sunshine. We do too. It's still cloudy, windy, and rainy today.
What scoring do you all use when playing Farkle? We've had people encouraging us to go to eastern Washington for the summer. Checking into it, but don't get your hopes up. Just pray for God's will to be done.
Farkle scoring:
50 points for one '5'
100 points for each '1'
100 points x the value of a triple rolled (ex: roll 3 '5s' and you get 500)
1000 points when you roll 3 '1s' in one roll
1500 points when you roll a straight in one roll
win the game if you roll 6 of one number!
You have to roll 500 to get in the game.
If on your first roll of any turn, you don't roll any points, you get a consolation 50 points and can 'start over'.
If you roll all points on any roll, you pick all the dice up and keep rolling till you decide to quit or till you farkle.
We play to 10000.
There's also strategies we use, like, if you roll a 1 and a 5 and 4 other worthless numbers, we pick up the 5 and the others and roll them and only count the 100--more of a chance to roll higher next time. If Ken has only 3 dice to roll, he will often stick--odds are not good, he says!
It would be GREAT if you guys were in WA for the summer. Eastern will be quite a bit warmer than this side of the mountains--more like UT and ID. We'd definitely drive over!
