After our lunch break of yummy fried chicken and fixin’s, Sally Maloney presented Dr. Dan and Laura with a cake, gift and flowers in celebration of their 53rd wedding anniversary.100_2748100_2749

Next, Angel Neese, a story teller with Campus Crusades Story Tellers Ministry.  Angela is a part of Story Tapestry, a ministry to the women of Tajikistan.tajikistan-map

Angie, in the pictures below, is telling the story of the woman with the twelve-year issue of blood, who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment to be healed. Angie is dressed in the Tajikistan dress.  She’s telling (and singing) one of the same stories that she tells to the women’s sewing classes there.  Story telling Bible stories has been found to be one of the most effective ways to reach these precious ladies with Truth and Light and a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.2010 Sept 10 CRM board meeting-1

Angie displays some of the items made by the sewing classes.  The dress in the middle was a gift to Angela from one of the young ladies she ministered to.  The stories of the women in Tajikistan that Angela told us about, were heartbreaking.2010 Sept 10 CRM board meeting1-1

Angie is very animated and captivating in her delivery of Bible stories and she is even more passionately in love with the women of Tajikistan.  We look forward to her visit to south Texas this winter to share her story at the women’s retreat CRM women are planning.100_2772

By the end of today, CRM board members had committed to minister along side of CHI and Story Tapestry, with encouragement and involvement.

The board members, after much discussion and prayer, voted to move forward, completely by faith, in the purchase of Zanoni Mill Ranch as our CRM International Headquarters.  100_2426 There are so many facets and possibilities to the ranch, that I will not go into explaining them tonight, but if God brings this acquisition to pass, I will share the vision as time progresses.  It is exciting and mind boggling as we envision the many ways to minister to the world from this international headquarter, as well as having an image and physical presence that will bring glory to God.

Having said that, we would ask you to pray for Bruce, the current owner of Zanoni Mill Ranch.  Bruce is in the last stages of liver and kidney cancer.  Bruce is married to Kim and they have twin sons who are still in school.  The ranch is their dream and we don’t know why God has brought this ranch and Bruce into our lives, but it is our greatest desire that Bruce would be healed of this horrible disease and God would allow him to remain with his family on their ranch.  We have prayed with Bruce and for Bruce and we are waiting to hear wonderful news from him.  Whatever happens in the future, CRM has been enriched by our knowing Bruce and we now have a clear vision of the type of headquarters and additional future ministries God has for us.

Romans 15:14

14I’m convinced, brothers and sisters, that you, too, are filled with goodness. I’m also convinced that you have all the knowledge you need and that you are able to instruct each other. (GOD’S WORD Translation)

Wow!!
