After Logan’s football game, we drove on over to Don’s sister’s near Blanchard for his mother’s 80th birthday party.
Would you believe that this was a surprise party and she did not know that she would be wearing a tiara with purple trim? She certainly was color coordinated.
She was very proud of picture of great grandkids, Logan, Kristina and Taylor.
Mom and her two sisters, Lois and Bernice. We will be staying with Bernice while we are in Norman for a few days.
The party was a big success and Mom loved every minute of it.
Don and I went over to friends, Larry and Suzette, to watch the OU football game with them. Suzette opened the door telling me to put that camera up and do not take any pictures, while all the time I was just merrily clicking away. This will teach her not to flash me a happy welcoming smile!

I'm curious, was there really 80 candles on that cake???
Yes, Joel, there were 80 candles on that little cake. Debby didn't light them all, though. Mom just blew out the lighter and we all laughed and called it "good!"
