Out on 290, we passed the Wild Seed Farms and thought it looked interesting so we stopped on the way back from the LBJ Ranch. Great idea! Sure wish we could visit this place in the Spring.
I think this is called a Texas Star.We will never forget.It's only appropriate to take a picture of a yellow rose in Texas.Fall is on it's way.Inside one of the shops.Ooooo, a pink coyote ugly hat!I wish I knew the name of this bush. We saw one the other day and it was covered in flowers... looked like it was on fire.
Wildseed Farms... what a beautifully interesting place, especially for the flower lover.
Note: We learned that the little flowers (we named them Lone Texas Star) we saw the other day at Lake Belton, are actually Rain Lilies. That makes sense, due to the rain they've gotten there.
