It is Sunday and Churchday. We thoroughly enjoy sharing worship time at New Beginnings Baptist Church, Bixby, Oklahoma, with Stephanie and family.
After church, we all went back to their home for a delicious lunch that Stephanie had prepared… beef stroganoff.
After resting and taking pictures of the color of fall in Stephanie’s backyard and beyond, she decided to make caramel corn. It was a team effort: I popped the corn and removed all the unpopped kernels and she made the caramel coating. Then, every 15 minutes, I helped her stir the corn… for an hour. It’s been a long time since I had homemade caramel corn and boy, was it amazing. Stephanie bagged up some for our road time tomorrow.
Here’s just a few pictures I took this afternoon.
Tonight, back at the Q, we watched the Cowboy/Eagles game. Embarrassing for Cowboy fans.
