Chef Jack and Kathy

We had a very special treat today!  Chef Jack and Kathy Gordon came to see us on their way back to Arizona from their home in Michigan.  Stephanie made chili for dinner and invited us all over.  They met Chef Jack and Kathy when they visited us in Arizona almost two years ago.  Jack did almost all the cooking for us while Stephanie and family were with us, so that’s how he got the name, “Chef Jack.”

Kathy and I played a game of Zilch with Logan and Taylor after dinner.

This has been a very special afternoon and evening of friendship and fellowship and catching up with two wonderful friends.

Thanks for the rhubarb cake, Chef Jack!!  It’s even better than we remembered.  And the Monster Cookies!!!  We’ll have a slice of banana bread with our coffee in the morning.

Hey, we don’t call him Chef Jack for nothing.
