Helping Hands

Bright and early, Rick and Wendy showed up to do a couple of jobs on the "Q" for us.  They just got home from Florida last night, so we figured they would sleep in, but we were wrong.

First, Rick fixes the new cable connections.Rick work on the 'Q'Next, our good neighbor and friends, climbs up top of the "Q" for Don to replace the damaged-by-hail vent cover.  I have a really "good" picture of Rick ascending the ladder, but because I'm such a nice person, I will not post it.  ;-)

Rick removing old vent cover.Rick removing old vent coverFor a few days we were what our friend, Dennis, called 'trailer trash' because we had something repaired on the "Q" with tape.  You can see all the white places where hail hit the vent.  We still can't believe we had not damage to the "Q" itself.for a few days, we were true trailer trashRick attaching the new "guaranteed unbreakable" (we left the sticker on) vent cover.Rick attaching the new 'guaranteed unbreakable' vent coverWendy held the ladder as Rick descended... task completed.

Thank you so much, Rick and Wendy, for your willing hearts and helping hands.  We love you and we are so blessed to have you here in Oklahoma with us this summer.
