You may enjoy date night, but when you live in the Texas Hill Country, it’s wise to have a Date Day, instead. We choose to not travel on the highways at dusk and at night if at all possible. There are just too many deer here.
So, this afternoon (matinee is better on our budget), my husband took me to see a movie we have both been waiting for:
“Seven Days in Utopia” starring Robert Duvall and Lucas Black. (See sidebar)
There were a couple of scenes I could have used a tissue and now I am realizing, I had tissues in my purse!! It’s a wonderful movie, best I’ve seen in a long time. We encourage you to support an effort that clean, no sex, no vulgarity. Just a great story. Well, it’s more than a great story, but you’ll see.
