Well, actually we are out in the country between the two towns. But first….
Our morning started at “that” park in Plymouth, Indiana… beautiful morning, starts with another farm picture.
A lot of folks in Indiana have this style of license plate. I like it.
For my niece-in-law (is that a word), Erin DeRusha. Just the sign. We actually drove around South Bend on the US 31 by-pass.
Don spotted this part of the Notre Dame campus from several miles away… hence, the poor quality.
And just past South Bend…
Almost immediately we begin to pass vineyard after vineyard. And blueberry farms and raspberry farms and cherry orchards and there was even a tomato farm… rows and rows of tomatoes. This picture is not even a tenth of all the tomato plants on this farm. That’s a lot of sticks!
And before we knew it, we were at the Covert/South Haven KOA. A really nice park that is only about four years old.
Owner Tom DeRosa and workamper Carol got us all checked in. Carol is a sister to our wonderful friend, Joyce Cooley, who we met three years ago in Arizona. We met Carol that winter also when she came out for her mother’s 97th birthday. Said mother is now 100 years and still traveling with Joyce.
While Don pulled the Q to our site, I walked and took pictures of flowers, already.
There’s even a nice fishing pond right across from our site.
This is the registration office and snack bar.
Laundry, where I did laundry today, and game room are in the basement that has a door opening in the back.
Unique table and chairs in the game room. I would not be surprised if Tom built this set himself.
After lunch, Don and I got out and walked around to look at the park. There are still flowers to photograph.
There are 415 sites here that include….
two Kamping Lodges…
five Kabins…
five tent sites and the rest are RV sites. Also, an added activity available here is blueberry picking! There are five large blueberry patches around the park and the berries are ripening and many are ready to pick!

You weren’t fooled, were you? There’s a group in the park with about four of these trikes.

Don found another fishing pond and several walking trails in the woods.
I found a bug. Rather vicious looking. I moved on quickly.

Libby loves plants and flowers. I’m in heaven.
For dinner, we walked up to the snack bar to order a pizza. Carol came in so I took advantage of the opportunity to take her picture. What a sweetie!
Macaela DeRosa (I’m sure I misspelled her name… I should have asked the correct spelling) took our order for pizza and said it would be delivered to our site in about fifteen minutes. Wow! Delivery! 
After enjoying the pizza, we walked some more. Here’s a closer view of the fishing pond across the street from us.
Reeds. I don’t remember that we have these in Texas. Of course, I’m probably wrong.
Here’s a wildflower that we’ve all seen that belongs to a nasty and hard to get rid of weed, but the flower really is pretty when photographed. Looks like it belongs at a wedding.
Don got back to the Q before I did. I agree it’s rather boring watching me take pictures. Before I got back, Libby and Tom had stopped by to chat. (Golf carts make great easy chairs on wheels! Like a rolling lawn chair!)
What a delightful couple and we are excited about a possible future “assignment” with them.
About now, the mosquitoes are gathering for a conference so our chatting time came to a close.

That weed you said should be in a wedding was the weed we always picked as kids and put them in water with food coloring. The food coloring would run up the stem and turn the flower whatever color we chose. Glad you like the owners and the park. Have fun!
the white flower(weed) is Queens' Lace or also known as Wild carrot because the root looks and taste somewhat like a carrot Horses love them,
