This park is so quiet and peaceful. We love it here.
From the park entrance, I zoomed this picture of a burnt hill a few miles away.
Inside the park…
Me: walking away from Don, "ooooo, look at this old wagon!"
Don: "(mumble, mumble, mumble)
Me: "what, hon?" as I walk back to him after taking the pic.
Don: "it's a manure spreader," in a very quiet voice.
Me: "guess you didn't want to holler that, huh?" Ha Ha
Ogallala, Nebraska: UFO Water Tower
It's amazing what can be done with a standard metal water tower and a little imagination. At night it's reportedly illuminated with UFO landing lights. Guess I need to come out after dark and take a picture. Of course I do!
