Soft Sounds Gospel Concert

We do love going to church at the chapel here in the park!  This morning, Carol (and George) sang three songs.

Sonny says, “Praise the LORD!!”  Well, okay, maybe that’s not what he said, but it sounded good and it fits the picture. :-)

The message from the Lord this morning was about being thankful and trusting God regardless of our circumstances.

Tonight was The Soft Sounds of Carol Kline Country Gospel concert at the First Baptist Church in Ingram.  We got there before 5:00 PM to set up for the concert which began at 6:30 PM.  Don started calling himself a Roadie because he helped George get the equipment set up for the concert.

Once the equipment was ready, George and Carol practiced a little before going to get dressed for the concert.

As you can tell looking the the following pictures, Carol loves to tell the Gospel through her singing.

This afternoon, I started missing them, knowing that they will be leaving tomorrow.  I’m listening to her gospel CD (He Was There All the Time) as I write this and that helps a little.  What a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice and a beautiful love for Jesus.

We miss you Carol and George!!!  Give Kris a kiss for us.
