Grand-kids Lydia and Blaine are in Orlando with their dad for a week before he goes to Afghanistan, and they are having a great time.
With Mickey and Minnie, of course.
Monday has been another beautiful day in the Arizona desert valley. The advantage of recent rains are really becoming evident as the blooms are popping open.
Friends from Oklahoma, Perry and Janice Brown, came over this afternoon to get their generator out of our storage shed. They will be leaving this week for home.
Late this afternoon, I walked over to the cactus garden to feed the birds and then I sat down on the bench and waiting for the quails to slowly make their way back to the feed.
As I walked over to get a picture of a poster Don had seen this morning during his walk, I spotted this little cottontail rabbit under a tree.
Here's the poster Don told me about. Yes, we have quite a few very proud Canadians in the park. They have reason to be proud.
Tonight, we were invited to join Bud & Barb Steiner and Keith and Patricia Steiner. Here's Don and Pat getting ready to play Mexican Train. It was more fun for the gals than it was for the guys... if you get my drift. Regardless, it is always a good time of fun and fellowship with these friends.
Today was also a good day of phone conversations with daughters and Mama Trudy.

and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)
