Market treasures

The Farmer's Market in Norman closes at noon, so we got ready and got there about 10:30.Saturday at the Farmer's Market in NormanWe are in search of black-eyed or purple hull peas for Mama Trudy, but there was none to be found.  We purchased a few more Freestone peaches and another Rush Springs cantaloupe.

Next door on the fair grounds, there was a flea market so we sauntered over and found a walker with wheels on the front legs, in excellent condition for $5.  We purchased that for Mama as the doctor said that he wanted her to have a walker.  We were tickled with that purchase and so was Mama.  It's very lightweight and folds conveniently.

Don purchased some smoked turkey, ribs and cold slaw from Rudy's BBQ and we enjoyed a nice lunch with Mama.

A game or two of Shoot the Moon was enjoyed before we came home to rest for the afternoon.

Tonight, we played cards with Rick and Wendy.  The girls didn't do so good tonight. [LaVon is pouting.  Regardless, we had fun and the fellowship, as always, was wonderful.

We are so blessed.
