Between where we are parked and Mama Trudy's, there's a lot of really pretty vistas. Yesterday, I chose dead trees as my picture topic.. You are so surprised, aren't you? This one reminds me of the dead trees Snookie photographed in Alaska. These wild flowers weeds, cover this field.
Mama's eye doctor/surgeon was extremely pleased with the progress of her eye today. With a corrective lens, she was reading 20/25.
Today, I took a walk with Don, again. The park owners cut down my dead tree!!!More wild flowers weeds. I wish I could have gotten closer to them, but they were across the creek.Don likes to watch the water in the creek for fish, turtles, etc. The tree he's standing under is really big.Don's famous pose. Now, these crows brought forth a story from Don's childhood. As a little boy who loved to wonder around in the woods and along the river, one day, he brought home a baby crow. His dad wanted to know what he was going to do with the baby crow.
"I'm going to take care of it." So he built a cage out of scrap lumber and chicken wire and fed and played with the crow until it was grown. One day, he fed his pet crow red beans. Today, he asked me, "Did you know that crows can't digest red beans?" "No." Who knew? Don cried, buried his pet crow and cried some more. Poor little guy. There's an althea bush, sometimes called Rose of Sharon, in the park. The bush has two different colored blooms. This one is lavender. This one is pink. They are only about twelve inches apart. The Canadian River sure doesn't look much like a river. It is a four-wheelers dream, though.Today, we took grandkids, Lydia and Blaine, to the HeyDay for pizza at Double Dave's and games and miniature golf.Blaine waiting his turn.Blaine taking his turn.Lydia taking her turn.Today was a very windy day. It started out rainy and then cloudy and then very nice and then clear and very warm and still very windy. We are so blessed.

I think #15 is 'GOD Bless You'.
And, open for discussion: doesn't it send a mixed message to have a pic of a ZERO U. flag on a Christian website?
