Waco-Day 9 - Friday

Hello from Clifford who wants to tell you that it is a beautiful day today. Today, my project was to clean the back patio of Leslie's house.   Billie (aka Grammy) had given Les & Khalil a Home Power Washer for Christmas, so she got it out and we put that puppy together.  I am singing the praises of the POWER WASHER.  It is great!  After a day working, Don and I went out to China Springs to go to dinner with Wink & Dovie (aka Pops & Mom), their daughters Karen and Darlene and Darlene's hubby, Jim.  While at their house, I took this picture of Dovie's pot o' pansies. Don finally got his catfish dinner!  And it was delicious.  After dinner, we drove through the country to Rock Creek, Texas to Darlene & Jim's beautiful country home.

Love this front porch.Moving on, Wink showed us the old and new Rock Creek Ridin' High Cowboy Church.  Old: New: Finally, it was time to pick up Emma.  She's been wanting to spend the night with us, so with her bag all packed for the night, she's ready.  After her bath in our little bathtub (the floor of our shower) she was ready for bed (my recliner).  But first, she had words to say,

dances to dance, songs to sing (she sings "Glory" very beautifully)  and pictures to take And soon, the princess was asleep.
